Your task in this paper is to review, integrate, and draw conclusions and implications about recent research on a specific social-psychological topic related to one or more of the broader topical areas covered in this course. Your paper should describe and integrate at least 5 primary-source research articles (e.g., empirical or literature-review articles from peer- reviewed psychology journals), and integrate relevant course material as well. In your paper, you should present conclusions about current understanding of the topic you focus on, and connect the findings and your conclusions to everyday life. This paper should be 5-7 pages in length (double-spaced with one-inch margins). Two submissions are required for this assignment. First, you must submit a brief overview of what you intend to write about. The overview should identify the main topic you will investigate, briefly outline some of the specific aspects you will focus on, and list at least two of your sources. The overview can be in outline form, or presented in a clearly written paragraph. This overview is due by submission on Blackboard on Thursday, November 21. The second submission, of course will be the final paper, and it will be due on Thursday, December 12. Your paper must be at least 5 pages in length (double-spaced, 12-point font, 1 inch margins all around). The page length can be extended to no more than 10 pages.
