Hello and thank you for your help, so the directions and sources required are listed below as followed from what ive been told by my instructor to do: Students will watch an episode of the TV show Intervention. Then the student will write a paper applying the concepts outline using this person as their client. The paper should be APA style with proper citations and a reference list. Relevant course readings should be cited to support your work. Also use a heading for each section. This paper should be approximately 5-6 pages in length. Section 1: What would be your stance or approach to working with this person as you try to engage them? Section 2: What screening instrument would you use to determine if this person needs further assessment? Section 3: Using chapter 2 in Miller et al., describe this person in regard to the Seven Dimensions of Addiction. Section 4: Pick two assessment tools you would use to better understand this client’s substance use disorder. What would each of them tell you? How would the information gained compliment not only the other selected tool but also a bio psycho social assessment? Write a summary of what you think your assessment tools would tell you about this person. Section 5: If you completed a functional analysis, what triggers would it identify? Section 6: Describe two theories that helped you better understand this client and their situation. Section 7: Based on your assessment results, identify with your client 2 goals with at least 2 objectives for each goal. Given all that you learned from the initial assessment, how did you settle on these goals and why did you select these objectives? Section 8: Describe how what you read in the Hari book so far regarding policy impacts your client’s experience and how that in turn impacts how you approach working with your client.
